Mini Moose, from Invader Zim
My granddaughter, Alyssa, requested that I crochet a purple Mini Moose for her.
I had no idea who 'Mini Moose' was, so she sent me an internet link and informed me that it was a character in a cartoon series called 'Invader Zim'.
I copied a picture of Mini Moose to my desktop and printed it so I would have something to use to compare sizes for the legs, eyes and antlers.l
Here's Mini Moose looking for his antlers.
Mini Moose found his antlers and has a 'full tooth smile' on his face.
I made the antlers from light weight, slightly stretchy, terrycloth. They were easy to stuff and soft, yet firm enough to keep their shape and stand out.
The tooth was made from soft white fleece, I sewed a little pocket and turned it right side out, both the tooth and antlers were hand sewn to the body.
Alyssa is thrilled that he is finished and I will be packing him up, along with kimonos, ruffled dresses and purses I sewed for her Sister Savanah's Pullip doll and mailing him to his anxious owner. Next request is a goldfish hat and a Panda hat.
